Educated in Wales, UK and a welder/boilermaker by trade, I migrated to Western Australia in 1981 with my wife Ann. Within 12 months of arriving in WA, I joined the Western Australian Police Force where I spent a very happy 15 years in various areas of policing, both as a general duties police officer and as an investigator. Having acquired advanced communication and negotiating skills I decided to pursue a career where I could continue to interact with members of the public. Residential Real Estate was my choice. Having now spent many years within the industry I have no doubt my choice was correct. In 2006 Ann & I founded Property West Real Estate which has now grown into an agency of choice in the Perth Northern Corridor. Property West is a family owned business with both Ann and I being heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of property management and sales. The Property Management portfolio is overseen by a Head of Department as well as a team of professionals who possess a vast amount of experience and knowledge of “all things Property Management”. Property West is committed to providing an excellent service second-to-none which can be achieved by ensuring that each Property Manager maintains a smaller that average portfolio. My approach to Real Estate has always been one of complete commitment and as a result of many years of ethical and competent service I am lucky to be in a position to say that over 80% of all my business is derived from past clients and their referrals. During the course of conducting real estate business over the past years I have acquired many loyal clients, dealt with many respected colleagues and have made many friends. To me Real Estate is not a career or a job, it’s a lifestyle and I love it!
Ann’s career is wide and varied ranging from being an Executive Assistant to the Senior Management of BankWest, to being a First Aid Trainer before embarking on a career as a Registered Nurse. In more recent years Ann has joined the family business by taking an active role in the day-to-day operations of the Property Management portfolio. By focussing on communication and a first-class service to our owners and tenants alike, Ann’s goal is for Property West to be recognised as the highest rated customer service property management company in Perth.
Helen, a very important member of our team, is the Head of Department for a very good reason, she has the knowledge, passion and experience to lead our Property Management team. Sarah an important asset of Property West offers her clients a host of experience, she is bright, charged with energy and a pleasure to be around. Sarah started her career in Real Estate back in 2012, starting as a Receptionist, then worked her way up to an Assistant Property Manager, Leasing Agent and now is a fully qualified and valued Property Manager. Once meeting Sarah you will soon realise how efficient she is. Communication comes natural and her only fault is that she spends to much time chatting to her clients. Anne brings a host of experience to Property West and is well known within the industry to be a very reliable, honest and hard working sales representative. Julie is our receptionist and Admin Manager who brings buckets of experience and knowledge to the office. Julie has been living in Perth for 11 years and has worked in the Property Management industry for 6 years. We are lucky to have her on board. Julie is probably the first person you speak to when enging our services, this is more than likely why we secure so much new business.
Emily has completed her Property Management registration and is now being trained in all aspects of Property Management. Emily is a very efficient and hard working young lady and has the makings of a great Property Manager in the future.
